After a bumpy drive from my hotel I got out of my classy Toyota and viewed the site of the famous Tavan Bogd River. A great place to visit and experience for the whole family. It is located in central Tavan Bogd Province. It took me 15 minutes to drive there from my hotel. When I arrived I read the sign on the hire building, it is open from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Tavan Bogd River is out in the mountains but the water is surprisingly warmer than I thought it would be. There are lifeguards and instructors that teach you how to kayak and raft.
There were people in rafts and kayaks everywhere and they looked like they were having a spectacular time. Behind me was a playground where families were having picnics and kids were playing. I grabbed a raft and went into the water, as I went in I could feel the coldness of the water on my feet. The water was still shallow so I gave it a push and jumped in. I could see green bushy trees surrounding me so I starting paddling around with ice cold water splashing up the sides of my raft. It was tremendous, the most fun I’d had in my life. Paddling around in the boiling hot sun was outstanding! There were lifeguards doing astonishing tricks that dominated the whole river and were amusing to watch.
There is a rafting club there for people who want to get special training and go around the world going to significant rafting spots. If you are in the club you can get rafts for extraordinary deals. You can also get tickets for sensational prices like the price for a family is $20.00 and the price per person is $5.00.
